Learn to Canoe Workshop - June 28

canoe lessons

About the workshop:

Each 4 hour workshop is geared toward the novice paddler who wants to learn the basics of canoeing. The workshop will consist of skills used to safely control a canoe. We will learn how to enter / exit a canoe, landings, forward / reverse strokes, pivots, and bracing. We will also learn how to safely transport a canoe and how to tie knots. There will also be discussions around safety equipment and its use as well as canoe design. These workshops are an excellent oppotunity to ask any questions you may have.
